Penalties for driving without insurance in Nebraska
According to the Nebraska DMV, if you could not produce proof of insurance when a law enforcement officer asked and you were not insured on the date of the citation, you must file proof of financial responsibility, normally an SR-22 for each vehicle registered in your name.
