If you drive without required coverage
Oklahoma enforces its Compulsory Insurance Law in part through the Uninsured Vehicle Enforcement Diversion Program, created by statute (47 O.S. section 7-606.2). Owners of vehicles identified as uninsured receive a notice and can resolve it through the program, which does not affect the permanent driving record. A roadside ticket carries a larger fine and possible additional fees, according to the program's notice. Fee amounts are printed on the notice.
